All are invited. Summer history programs are free and open to the public and held in our pavilion at 526 Main Street, Royersford. Advance registration required for K-6 children at www.sfahs.com in order to reserve an activity packet.
After a presentation on the history of childhood toys and games, you will have the opportunity to try your hand at a number of historical folk children’s games. There will also be several stations to make your own toys/games to take home with you.
For an optional $5, when registering in advance, participants can reserve a Grab Bag of Retro Childhood Games and Toys, a $10 value. Included will be: jacks, marbles (with drawstring bag), jump rope, paddle ball, yo-yo, cat’s cradle, top, hacky sack, and several other surprises.
